Celebrate our Women Crush Wednesday this week by honoring our special guest, Emma Walters!
Emma is a resilient and kind individual, and we want to celebrate her for her devotion to her faith, community service, and passion for ballet!
Kendra Scott will be donating 20% of proceeds back to Emma's favorite nonprofit - On River Time!
Emma's nomination was one of the sweetest and most inspirational ones we received, and we are so excited to celebrate her!
Emma shows us commitment through her professional dance training and participation with the Alabama Ballet AND her determination to overcome a serious knee injury several years ago to return to dance! She works hard to serve the Birmingham area as well by promoting skin cancer awareness through Melanoma Mondays and speaking at local elementary schools about the importance of sunscreen. She continues to volunteer her time as an ambassador for Children's Miracle Network and even started her own Christmas shoe box campaign at her high school!Â
Emma is a true example of what it means to be an inspirational woman to our Birmingham community, and we are proud to honor her!
Emma wants to donate 20% of proceeds during the event back to one of her favorite local non-profits, On River Time. She loves their mission to serve kids that are survivors of abuse and neglect. In the fall, Emma attended their annual fundraising gala and heard Elizabeth Smart, the Key note speaker. Her powerful story of overcoming kidnapping and abuse was beyond inspirational for Emma and she wants to share her message of hope, forgiveness and love this holiday season.
